As it is possible to see in the picture, there will be a camera capturing the water movements from bellow. I think is better from bellow than above, otherwise it would capture the water motion as well othar movements made by the visitors. But is something to discuss and decide in the first day.

As you can see my first proposal for the installations is it will look like an aquarium. So far this doesn’t convince me much… though I don’t find it ugly. I just hope during the workshop some other ideas for the installation design (and by this I mean the recipient shape) will come up.

materials

Here’s a list of materials and all the stuff that will be needed, at least for the moment:

Hardware:

-PC, windows XP/VISTA

-Digital Camera, normally I use Unibrain Fire-i (it has a resolution 640×480 and 30f/s)

- Projector

-Speakers

Software:

OpenframeWorks

OpenCv

For the instalation construction:

- Plexiglass (possibly to make a recipient 80x 50×30 cm)

- Pinewood (possibly to make a structure aprox 100×70x55 cm)

here starts the blog for information update about the project sensitive water. This projects is one of the projects that will be developed at interactio«vos? 08 mexico.
